IMPACTOMETRICS is recruiting qualified Data Collectors for a youth entrepreneurship and livelihoods study in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

The data collectors will support the Mid-Term Evaluation of the EYEFON 2 Project. The study will examine youth entrepreneurship, employment, livelihoods, irregular migration and human trafficking.

• Position: Data Collector

• Location: Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State

• Mandatory Briefing: 5 September 2026

• Fieldwork Period: 7–12 September 2026

Important Requirement

This opportunity is strictly for people who live in Ikot Ekpene. Applicants must also be available for the briefing and the full fieldwork period.

Main Responsibilities

Selected data collectors will:

• Conduct interviews and collect qualitative information.

• Engage respectfully with community members.

• Record and submit accurate field data.

• Use digital data-collection tools.

• Follow research ethics and confidentiality rules.

• Work effectively with other members of the research team.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Previous experience in data collection or field research.

• Experience conducting qualitative research.

• Good communication and community engagement skills.

• Knowledge of digital data-collection tools.

• Understanding of research ethics and confidentiality.

• Ability to collect and submit accurate information.

• Ability to work as part of a research team.

Previous CRADI training will be an advantage. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.
