OLI Recruitment 2026 for Qualitative Research Assistants

The Oxygen for Life Initiative (OLI), in collaboration with FHI 360, is inviting applications from qualified Nigerians for Qualitative Research Assistant positions across six locations in Nigeria.

The opportunity is particularly suitable for professionals with a Master’s degree in Public Health or a related discipline and experience in qualitative or mixed-methods research.

Selected candidates are expected to participate in the research project for approximately 4–6 months.

Available Locations

Successful candidates will work in any of the following locations:

• Abuja (FCT)

• Lagos

• Kano

• Rivers

• Imo

• Bauchi

Job Responsibilities

Qualitative Research Assistants will support field-based research activities, including:

• Qualitative data collection

• Research documentation

• Data analysis

• Mixed-methods research activities

• Supporting the generation of research findings that can inform health and development interventions

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.

• A Master’s thesis or dissertation involving qualitative or mixed-methods research.

• Knowledge or practical experience in qualitative research methods.

• Experience in data collection and analysis.

• A published qualitative research article is an added advantage.
