A professional research organization in Nigeria is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Data Collectors / Interviewers to join its network. This project-based role supports public affairs, social research, and development studies across Nigeria.

Position Overview

As a Data Collector / Interviewer, you will conduct surveys and structured interviews, ensuring accurate and ethical data collection according to project guidelines. This contract role reports to field supervisors and involves working on various assignments nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face or digital interviews using structured questionnaires.
• Accurately record responses using paper or electronic devices (smartphones/tablets).
• Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Engage respondents professionally, ensuring voluntary participation and informed consent.
• Submit completed questionnaires or digital data on time.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and report any field challenges.
• Follow quality assurance processes including spot checks and data validation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Experience in data collection, survey administration, or field research preferred.
• Background in social sciences, public affairs, statistics, or development studies is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, and reliability.
• Basic digital literacy with smartphones or tablets.
• Ability to work under field conditions and meet deadlines.
