Ipsos Nigeria is recruiting experienced and detail-oriented professionals to join its field operations as Field Supervisors. This project-based role is ideal for candidates with a background in public affairs, social research, data collection, or field management.

Position Overview

Field Supervisors coordinate and manage field teams during data collection, ensuring all activities follow project guidelines, meet quality standards, and adhere to timelines. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to maintain data integrity and handle field challenges.

Field Supervisors report to the State Coordinator or Field Network Coordinator and contracts depend on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide enumerators during fieldwork.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection following project protocols.
  • Monitor progress and provide operational support and feedback.
  • Conduct spot-checks to verify data accuracy.
  • Enforce compliance with research and quality standards.
  • Identify and escalate field challenges as needed.
  • Maintain documentation and submit field reports.
  • Support smooth coordination of field teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in field supervision or data collection.
  • Experience as a field interviewer or enumerator is a plus.
  • Strong team management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
