Call for Innovators: Young Innovators of Nigeria (YIN) ECoN Initiative 2026 – North-West Zone

The Young Innovators of Nigeria (YIN) is inviting innovators from the North-West region to participate in the Energise Commercialisation Now (ECoN) Initiative, led by the Federal Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Technology in collaboration with Oluremi Tinubu.

The ECoN Initiative aims to identify, showcase, and support innovative ideas with strong commercial potential. It bridges the gap between innovation and market opportunities by providing a platform for innovators to gain visibility, funding, and strategic partnerships.

The initiative targets participants from these North-West states:

• Kano
• Kaduna
• Katsina
• Kebbi
• Jigawa
• Sokoto
• Zamfara

The event will be hosted in Kano, serving as a central hub for regional innovators to present their ideas.
