Step-by-Step Guide to Obtaining SMEDAN and CAC Business Registration Certificates

Last week, we received several messages from our readers asking about how to obtain a business registration certificate from the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in collaboration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). In response, we have prepared this article to guide you step by step.

Step One: Registration

If you have not registered before, you are required to complete your registration by clicking the link below:

You will be asked to provide the following information:

• Your first name

• Your last name

• Your email address

• Your password

If You Have Already Registered

If you have already registered, click the link below to log in:
👉 https://portal.smedan.gov.ng/signin

Then enter:

• Your email address

• Your password

Once the page opens, ensure that you complete all the information required by SMEDAN.

CAC Registration

After completing the SMEDAN registration details, navigate to the left-hand side of the page and locate CAC Registration. Carefully fill in all the required information.
