The LGA Facilitator is a crucial link between community structures, coordinating and supervising polio and RI activities at the state, LGA, ward, and settlement levels. They oversee the daily implementation, data reporting, and operations of Volunteer Community Mobilizers. Additionally, they report on the humanitarian situation in Borno and Yobe States, enabling timely responses. Their presence in the field ensures program monitoring, adherence to protocols, and independent accountability due to limited client staff travel amid increasing insecurity.
