New Opportunity: NDE Launches RHEI Phase 3 to Train Over 26,000 Nigerians for Free

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has launched the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3, a nationwide skills acquisition programme designed to empower Nigerians with practical skills and self-employment opportunities.

The programme is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and will run from 23 July 2026 to 29 January 2027.

What Is RHEI Phase 3?

The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3 is a free skills training programme created to help Nigerians acquire modern skills, improve their livelihoods, and access better employment opportunities.

Under this initiative, over 26,961 Nigerians will benefit from training across various skill areas, including:

• Vocational Skills

• Digital Skills

• Agricultural Skills

• Labour-Based Skills

• Entrepreneurship Skills

Number of Beneficiaries Under Each Programme

The beneficiaries will be distributed as follows:

• REP: 4,962 participants

• SSE: 5,998 participants

• SPW: 3,756 participants

• VSD: 12,245 participants

The training will be implemented across different electoral wards nationwide to ensure wider access and participation.
