Job Summary

The Account / Data Entry Officer will handle financial record-keeping, reporting, compliance, and support accounting operations using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Record all financial transactions accurately in the ERP system
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• Support inter-company reconciliations

2. Payables & Receivables Management

• Verify invoices and payment documentation
• Prepare payment instructions
• Maintain vendor records and payable summaries
• Assist in debtors’ reporting

3. Compliance & Audit Support

• Prepare VAT, WHT, PAYE, and pension schedules
• Maintain proper audit documentation
• Support external audit processes

4. Inventory Management

• Participate in stock counts
• Reconcile inventory with warehouse and production records

5. ERP & Process Improvement

• Support reconciliation between Tally and eResource ERP systems
• Assist during system migration processes

Requirements

• Minimum B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong financial reporting and ERP experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles and controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively across teams

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦250,000 monthly
