About the Fellowship

The Health Misinformation Management Fellowship is an initiative of Nigeria Health Watch that aims to build the capacities of Social Media Influencers, Bloggers and Creatives (including Graphic Designers and Video Creators) to report health information accurately. This Fellowship aims to equip participants with knowledge, skills, and resources to become responsible advocates for accurate health information and champions against health-related misinformation. 

The fellowship will run for 12 weeks and fellows will participate in training sessions and collaborative projects to raise the knowledge and awareness of accurate health information and combat the spread of rumours and misinformation within the influencers' communities.

Requirements for Participation

1. · Active social media profile with a minimum follower count of 1000 and a significant engagement rate.
2. · Ability to reach diverse audiences and engage effectively on social media platforms.
3. · Willingness to participate fully in all fellowship activities and contribute actively to collaborative projects.
4. · No known affiliation with any political party
