Overview

The PSM Intern will work closely with the state-based SCMS Specialist and project partners to support project management and implementation at the state level. This role involves assisting in logistics, documentation, and ensuring timely and effective technical activity implementation. The intern will also support oversight of routine activities such as data validation, supply chain monitoring, training, and last-mile health commodity distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and compile activity reports
• Prepare internal process tools like purchase requests and expense reports
• Assist with logistics for meetings, workshops, and trainings
• Maintain inventory of project equipment
• Monitor activity progress and adherence to work plans
• Support program implementation monitoring and resource use
• Assist with LMIS data review, POD reconciliation, and quality improvement
• Routine data entry at the state level
• Track last-mile distribution of malaria health products
• Document success stories and lessons learned
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Up to 1 year experience in malaria project implementation, public health, or health systems strengthening
• Ability to build relationships with senior colleagues and stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Skills in training development, facilitation, and program management
