NGO: Community Mobilizers at COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale (12 Openings)

COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale, an Italian humanitarian NGO, is recruiting 12 Community Mobilizers for full-time positions across Plateau, Benue, Kaduna, and Katsina states in Nigeria (3 per state). The Community Mobilizers will serve as liaisons between COOPI and local communities under the SPRiNG Project, focusing on community engagement, ecosystem restoration, climate-smart agriculture, peacebuilding, and monitoring/reporting. Key responsibilities include mobilizing community groups, supporting natural resource and VSLA committees, facilitating dialogue for peace, supervising tree planting, and ensuring inclusive participation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in related fields, at least 2 years’ experience in community engagement, fluency in English, Hausa, Mwaghavul, and Berom, and experience in multi-ethnic, conflict-affected areas. Female applicants are strongly encouraged. The role requires strong interpersonal, facilitation, reporting skills, and commitment to gender equality and human rights.
